With a Bachelor's degree from San Diego State University and 12 years experience in the airline industry, Janis began visiting Central Oregon in the early 1980's for the wonderful skiing at Mt. Bachelor. She and her husband decided to make Bend their full-time home in 1987. Along with one college age son and two small ones, they moved into the old neighborhood close to Drake Park, and embraced ALL the wonderful seasons and activities in Central Oregon.
